Sukkot

Shakshuka in the Sukkah

Friday, September 29
5:30 pm Tot Shabbat - CANCELLED
6:00 pm Congregational Israeli Dinner & Sukkah Decorating - CANCELLED

7:15 pm Sukkot Shabbat Service with Yizkor - now online on Zoom: link here

Following Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Sukkot celebrates the fall season and the bounty of nature.  Fittingly, we will celebrate in our congregational sukkah in the Klein courtyard.  Join us in decorating the sukkah and then sit for a festive Israeli dinner, featuring shakshuka (A Sephardic dish of simmering tomatoes, onions, garlic, spices and gently poached eggs, served with pita) among other foods.  Celebrate Shabbat and Sukkot with family and friends, under the stars, just as our ancestors once dwelled in huts during the fall harvest season.
