Passover2020
Passover Schedule and Resources
As we prepare to celebrate our festival of redemption we have updated this page with information about our Second Night Virtual Passover Seder, along with a few additional Passover resources.
Second Night Virtual Passover Seder
- Our plan is to begin at 5:30pm
- We will be using the Jewish Boston Passover Haggadah, which you can download here in advance.
- During the Seder we will be muting everyone, except those speaking. To help us out, we ask that you have your video on and your computer/iPad with your name(s). Open your chat box, as we will be using that to communicate as well.
- We have a few craft activities the kids (or adults) can make in advance: Ten Plagues Spinning Wheel (Spinning Wheel template), Jumping Frogs For Passover, and The Four Children Puppets (The Four Children Puppet template).
- The first part of the Seder will last about 1 hour. At that time, we will all log off Zoom and have dinner.
- The second part of the Seder will start 45 minutes later. Log back onto the same Zoom number. This part will last about 20 minutes and is worth coming back to!
- On April 15 at 10:00 am, our Clergy Team will lead a Passover Yizkor Service. The prayer book can be found by clicking here.
- Newly added to our programming - on Saturday night at 7:15pm we will gather on Zoom for cocktails and mocktails with the clergy. Bring your Passover inspired drink and hang out with us. At 7:45pm we will begin Havdalah marking the end of Shabbat.
From our families to yours, we look forward to celebrating Passover's season of renewal, even in our current state of isolation. We hope that these programs and resources provide opportunities to celebrate Passover's festival of renewal.
