"Noah's Bark" Shabbat Worship Service

Friday, October 23, 2020 5 Cheshvan 5781

7:15 PM - 8:15 PMon Zoom

In honor of this week's Torah portion, in which pairs of animals are rescued on Noah's ark, we are celebrating our furry friends and inviting them to join us for Shabbat services, and to receive a special blessing.  So bring your dog, cat, guinea pig, rabbit, fish etc. and be prepared to introduce them to their online friends.

Tikkun Olam Opportunity:

Hi my name is Lily Hubschman and I am a member of Temple Beth El. For my mitzvah project, I will be working with the charity “Draw for Paws”, on a new initiative called “Buddy Bowls”. Food insecurity is a reason that many people are forced to surrender their loving pets to shelters, especially during COVID.  Through drives and donations, Buddy Bowls will help get food to animals so they can stay with their families.

Please help us collect food and donations to make this all happen. You can drop off unopened dog food to Temple Beth El or donate at https://draw-for-paws.myshopify.com/products/donate. Also if you show the below flyer at Pet Value in Chappaqua Crossing, you will receive 25% off your entire purchase.
