Pick-up Erev Rosh Hashanah Seder Dinner Boxes

Friday, September 18, 2020 29 Elul 5780

2:00 PM - 4:00 PMTBE

As this year’s High Holy Days calls for creativity and experimentation, we are proud to offer a new way to enter into Rosh Hashanah.  For much of the Sephardic Jewish world, especially in Israel, Erev Rosh Hashanah is celebrated through a Seder, much like on Passover.  However, rather than celebrating the Exodus from Egypt, we give thanks for the first fruits of autumn.  This foodie experience ties traditional fall foods to hopes and blessings for a sweet and happy new year.  With many thanks to Taylored Menus, Erev Rosh Hashanah Seder items will be available for pick up at Temple Beth El.  You can choose the Sephardic mezze appetizers featured in the Seder and then compliment with your own dinner, or pick up an entire dinner package for the family.  Then join us over Zoom as Rabbis Jaffe, Linzer and Cantor Sternlieb lead us through this participative and yummy experience.  Let’s make the most out of this moment by sharing the blessings of the fall together.
