Confronting our own End of Life Struggles: The Stories of Moses and Aaron with Rabbi Norman Cohen, Ph.D.

Sunday, May 3, 2020 9 Iyar 5780

10:30 AM - 11:30 AMon Zoom

As we continue to immerse ourselves in the life stories of the biblical characters and find meaning for our own lives, no character is more powerful than Moses.  His life frames most of the Torah and we have studied several portions of it.  Yet, it behooves us to look closely at his end of life struggles, which we all experience — how he copes with aging, the loss of his brother and sister, his handing over power to his disciple Joshua, and his own death.  Come along and imbibe the power of these moments in Moses’ life as seen through the provocative and engaging world of Midrash.
