Join our Tikkun Olam Committee (TOC) by giving back in March.  This month Beth El will be making blankets for Project Linus, an organization that collects for children in the hospital.  Our primary focus is on no-sew blankets, however if you knit or quilt those are great too.  Links with instructions can be found below.

The TOC has already created no-sew blanket kits for you including: fleece, templates, and chalk.  All you need are scissors.

If you would rather purchase your own fleece, we recommend JoAnn’s or Amazon (although Amazon is much more expensive).

Click here to join us on Zoom as we make the blankets step by step on Sunday, March 21 at 3:00 pm.  We will mix in a game of Name That Tune to liven things up while we cut & knot.

All blankets should then be dropped off by March 24 to the temple (bins outside).

Just a Note: In March we will also be collecting Passover non-perishable food items.  Feel free to drop those items off to the temple (in the bins outside) prior to March 24.
