Following her cantorial ordination and approaching her first anniversary with our congregation, we are thrilled to install Turia Stark as our cantor.  She will be installed by Cantor Michael Kasper, Dean of Cantorial Studies and Student Life at the Academy for Jewish Religion. Joining the service will be Cantor Stark’s husband, Cantor Carl Sayres. 

Please join us as we honor Cantor Stark’s achievement and the way she has ingratiated herself with all in the Beth El community.  Prior to the service, please also join us for a festive concert, as Cantor Stark pairs with her folk-duo partner, Miriam Wyman.  Together, the duo has performed and recorded an album as Dahlia Road.
