Did you know that you can bike from our area to NYC almost entirely on bike paths?  And that the entire 28 mile, two hour ride is overwhelmingly flat or downhill?

Meet Rabbi Jaffe at the North County Trail parking lot (off of 117 just after it passes over the Taconic) at 10:00 am from where we will proceed.  Our destination will be the Pier-I Café (West 70th and Riverside Park South) where we will gather for lunch. Participants can then bring their bikes on MetroNorth to Pleasantville, which is about a mile from the starting point.  We will take several rest/bathroom breaks along the way.  

Please print out and complete this liability waiver. Rabbi Jaffe will collect the waivers before the bike ride. 

The route:
-  Meet at the North County Trail parking lot: Click here for directions to the starting point 
-  Continue south to Elmsford, connect to South County Trail, proceed to Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx
-  Exit Cortlandt Park golf course parking lot onto Bailey Ave.  Right on 238th street, left on Broadway.
-  Go two miles, cross Broadway bridge. Right on 218th, left on Seaman (following bike lane)
-  Right on Riverside Dr, enter West Side bike path
