Thank to those who RSVP'd for dinner, the form is now closed.
Our Chanukah family service will be in the Social Hall this year. Bring your family's favorite Chanukiah from home to adorn your dinner table to light as we sing our Chanukah blessings during the Shabbat service. Our service will then start at 7:15 pm featuring our intergenerational choirs and special guest musicians as we sing favorite Chanukah songs and celebrate Shabbat together. A festive oneg following services will have the season's favorite treats!

Sunday, December 18
12:45 - 3:00 pm Sufganiyah (filled donut) Walking Tour in NYC with Rabbi Jaffe

On the eve of Chanukah, join Rabbi Jaffe and your friends and neighbors from Temple Beth El on a walking tour of all the best sufganiyot (filled donuts) the Upper East Side has to offer.  We will take care of the hard part by ordering the donuts in advance and having them ready at each stop. All you need to do is walk with us, taste the sufganiyot and let us know which you think is the best! Click here for full details and to RSVP..

5:45 - 6:15 pm Community Outdoor Chanukah Lighting, Hot Cocoa and Latkes

Whether you have a student ending the 5th and 6th grade program that day at 5:45 pm or beginning the 7th-12th grade programs at 6:15 pm, or simply want to come as a community member, join us in lighting our outdoor Chanukiah for the second night of Chanukah by the temple’s front doors. We will serve hot cocoa and latkes as our community comes together in festive celebration. Make sure to dress warm!

7:00 pm Jazz Night Celebrating Chanukah with Vodka and Latkes

Join your friends, clergy, and community for some innovative Jazz, vodka tasting, cocktails, and a latke or two! We are overjoyed to welcome back our High Holy Days accompanist, Brian Gelfand to perform with Cantor Sternlieb at this festive social.
