Blood Drive 8AM to 2PM

May 09, 2010

Our Semiannual Mitzvah from the Heart
TEMPLE BETH EL's SPRING BLOOD DRIVE

SUNDAY, MAY 9 at the Temple
(Mother’s Day Weekend) 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Call 762-3647 today for your appointment!

Once again, Temple Beth El congregants and friends will have the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and contribute a vitally needed pint of blood - a genuine mitzvah straight from the heart!

While one out of every three people will require a life-preserving transfusion at sometime during their lifetime, amazingly, here in the New York/New Jersey community, less than 2% of eligible people actually donate!

STEP UP and DO YOUR PART!
MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT TODAY!

Most people between 17 and 75, weighing a minimum of 110 pounds and in good health, can donate blood. Donors over 75 who are healthy and meet all other donor requirements simply require a doctor's written permission note to donate. Blood can be safely donated every 8 weeks. Certain travel and/or medical restrictions may also apply. For any questions concerning eligibility, please call 1-800-688-0900.
Appointments are important in order to maintain a steady flow of donors and to avoid unnecessary backups and delays. While every effort is made to accommodate all prospective donors and “drop-ins” are welcome, precedence necessarily goes to those with prearranged appointments.

Don't delay! Please make that call today! 762-3647
