TOC will be sponsoring a run/walk to support research for and victims of breast cancer March 14, 2010
The Temple Beth El Tikkun Olam Council invites you to participate in our Fight Against Breast Cancer Walk/Run on March 14, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. The Walk/Run will consist of a 2 mile loop. Walkers should plan on completing one loop (2 miles) while runners should feel free to go for two of them (4 miles).
The Walk/Run will begin at the Temple parking lot. We will be offering juice, coffee and bagels for all hungry participants as they finish their trek.
People who want to participate should register. We are asking registrants to make a donation to Sharsheret.org, an organization dedicated to assisting Jewish women who have confronted this terrible disease and in funding research to prevent and treat breast cancer. The Walk/Run is also open to non-members, so feel free to tell non-members about this great event.
